We set off from Mendoza at 8:45 in the morning, heading towards Luján de Cuyo, a 25-30 minute drive.
Our first stop is Bodega Familia Cassone, a family-owned winery built in the typical style of Mendoza, with high walls and wood ceilings, surrounded by a 100-year-old vineyard. Visit with a member of the family and tasting including their top wine Obra Prima Malbec.
We then continue to Bodega Benegas, a winery which has played a fundamental role in the introduction of European grapes to Argentina. It is one of Mendoza’s most historic wineries, in which Federico Benegas Lynch continues the tradition that his great grand father started more than 120 years ago. Visit and tasting including their reserve Benegas line.
For lunch we visit Bodega Ruca Malen, a stylish winery with a great view of the Andes mountain range, which serves one of the best winery lunches in Mendoza. Of course we will taste their top wine Kinien.
In the afternoon we visit Bodega Finca Decero, a brand new winery in Mendoza’s prime Malbec zone Agrelo. The winery's refined architecture integrates perfectly into the closeby mountain landscape. Special tasting of their reserve wines in their relaxing tasting room.
Return to Mendoza around 5:30 p.m.
Tour price: US$ 135 per person, including lunch, all winery visits and wine tastings, transport and English speaking expert guide. Group size: 2-8 people.
